History of Grupo Bimbo company

  vBimbo® began as a family business in 1945 on December 2, with only 34 associates in Mexico City, and is now in 19 countries worldwide.

vThe vision of the founders was to “make really good bread, nutritious, tasty and fresh; do it well,

in a clean manner, with the greatest perfection possible and with the intent to nourish, please and

thus, reach all households in Mexico”.

—BIMBO has close to eight thousand products and over 150 brands of acknowledged prestige.

—Other names for BIMBO were: Pan Rex, Pan NSE (acronym in Spanish from the words nutritious, tasty and affordable,), Sabrosoy, Pan Lirio, Pan Nieve and Pan Azteca.

Today, Grupo Bimbo produces, distributes, and markets 10,000 products from it’s 148 plants located in Mexico, the United States, Central and South America, Iberian Region (Spain and Portugal) and Asia.
