idea to create a baking company is born. The name Bimbo appears for the first time.

The company Bimbo S.A. is created. The Bimbo Bear
Cub becomes the Company’s logo. The first products launched into the market
are: cellophane wrapped large and small white loafs of bread, rye bread and
toasted bread.

starts its Social Responsibilities activities by earmarking a percentage of
profits to open and maintain a school

a company in the global food industry.

2013

The First
Ecologic Sales Center from the largest worldwide bakery company is launched
to reduce the environmental impact of its operations, easing the effects of
the climate change.
The Ecologic Sales Center will be powered from the energy produced in the Piedra Larga Windfarm.
This
effort positions Grupo Bimbo as a modern and innovative company, firmly
committed to protecting the environment.
